As everyone knows, Dishes has a very large population of Chinese nationality which is why Asian restaurants are popping up in the city. I admit, I call them Asian because they are often hybrids that mix spring rolls and sushi, but not all of them are of low quality and some are worth trying.
The surroundings of via Filzi I'm a little girl China Town, where you stroll through supermarkets with Chinese products, Chinese bridal shops, Chinese beauty centers. In short, here there is no shortage of places to eat, but I would not be able to recommend places that are worth a dinner because they close and reopen with different management at the speed of light.
Tesoro
My favorite restaurant is located in another area of ​​the city and is called Tesoro. It has been open for years now, I've been going to it since I was little and the manager is very nice. Ask him his name and he will answer “Luha”, aspiring the c like a real Prato citizen.
It has a room reserved for smokers and the rooms are very "oriental": dragons on the walls and ceilings, mirrors, scenes of everyday life. The menu is typical of Chinese restaurants, although there is also a list of pizzas, which I have never tasted, but they came in handy when I went there to eat with people who do not like exotic dishes.
The prices are affordable, especially because the dishes are very abundant and lend themselves well to being shared. Don't forget to book, because the place is always full, especially on Saturday evening and punctuality is required. There are special lunch menus.
Moi Sushi Lab
If you love the Japanese, I recommend a place that I only recently discovered and that from the outside did not inspire me at all. The place is really microscopic and minimal and that's why I ended up eating at the counter. It is located right in the center of Prato and is called Moi Sushi Lab.
You can get food from too removal and the menu is not very extensive, even if well cared for. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is better if you remove the ringtone on your cell phone: it is very intimate and suitable for romantic dinners. The prices are in the average of other Japanese, which I have tasted, but without overdoing it I managed to spend 12€ for a respectable dinner.
Sore point for western desserts. The cook periodically goes to Japan to update himself on the local cuisine and that is why the restaurant is closed at certain times of the year. Booking is almost mandatory, given the shortage of seats. I want to go back to taste the ramen!
Then there are the W, who offer a fixed price buffet with an unimaginable wealth of dishes: from rice to Cantonese to grilled fish, from suhi to french fries. I'm not really a lover of these places, but I've often been there for dinners with friends and they are well suited to family meals, because children enjoy choosing food and prices are cheap.
Asia Sushi Wok
All 'Asia Sushi Wok dell 'Omnia Center, a complex of shops, cinemas and restaurants, there is a fixed price: 11.90€ for lunch and 18.90€ for dinner. The quality of the food is not bad, even if a lower than that of the restaurants I have mentioned.
The environment is very quiet and the choice is really wide. I think it's one of the longest lasting woks in town and all the times I've been there, even though it was full, the wait times for the barbecues weren't long and the staff were always helpful.
