Forni di Sotto

Not far from Forni di Sopra, but definitely less known, Forni di Sotto is another of those enchanted villages where in a few minutes you will immediately feel at home. In Forni not to be missed is theWidespread Hotel Dolomites, obtained from the ancient houses of the village. Here the experience to live is like a true "local" and thewelcome really like in family (upon my arrival they made me find the handmade cookies by the owner of the house). In Forni there are Things to do, more than to see, if you love sports and nature walks this is the perfect place: Nordic walking, trekking, canyoning, kayaking, climbing and mountain biking that can be rented with the bike sharing municipal.

Sutrio

Sutrio is the place where the "Magic of wood", has an ancient and important artisan tradition which is still alive today in the village. Every year it is celebrated with the “Magic of Wood” event in September.

Sutrio is at the foot of the Zoncolan, this is also the realm of sportsmen where to go hiking or mountain biking, to discover the mountain huts (Pramosio, Marinelli, Lavareit). Not to be missed is the event Fasin de la Mede which takes place in the last week of July and retraces the ancient ritual of haymaking.
