Where to sleep in Arezzo: Palazzo Bostoli Guest House

The review of the Palazzo Bostoli Guest House, a bed and breakfast in Arezzo located in the historic center, managed by excellent owners with spacious and clean rooms. Read the post to organize your romantic weekend in Arezzo.

Also this year in April my husband and I granted ourselves a Florentine weekend by opting for the city of Arezzo as not yet visited. I must say that even in this case we were not disappointed. Arezzo is a special place and a really beautiful town; as soon as you enter the historic center you can taste another air, almost ancient. You will find yourself in front of many antique shops, and of course the churches and monuments: the first walk in Arezzo is not to be forgotten! In addition to the main attractions of the city, also the many streets that cross the village they deserve to be traveled by walking in complete tranquility, forgetting, without a destination. The beauty is just that: wandering looking around to grasp the beauty of every glimpse and corner. We recommend an excellent solution for sleeping in Arezzo: Palazzo Bostoli Guest House.

Palazzo Bostoli, Arezzo

And what better way to see the city than by staying in one Guest House located right in the center of Arezzo from where everything is within walking distance? My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Bostoli Guest House. The B&B is located on the second floor (note that there is no lift) of the historic building located on Course Italy. We are in the center a few steps from Piazza Grande and many other places of interest.

Rooms

The rooms, five in all, are clean and well furnished. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time and despite this our room was ready and available. Breakfast is not served in the building but in a pastry bar just around the corner. However, it is included in the booking price. A very nice thing about this Guest House is the panoramic roof from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Arezzo: I highly recommend it.

Welcome and advice

I owners Sara and Alessio they are extremely helpful in giving you any information about the city and advice on where to eat. We followed Sara's advice for our dinner and could not have made a better choice. The Luck da Luchino restaurant we were really satisfied, the Florentine or steak as you prefer (a dish that absolutely cannot be missed in a Tuscan trip) was exquisite and the owner very courteous and friendly.

Still on the subject of food, the excellent location of the B & B allows you to easily reach Piazza Sant 'Agostini where you can eat a great sandwich from Panini & Co. maybe for a frugal lunch without spending too much. The variety of sandwiches and topping ingredients and the quality will not disappoint.

Where to park: tips

Obviously, being the B&B in the center and in pedestrian zone it is not reachable by car but this is not a problem because there are 3 parking lots nearby. We have opted for the Pietri parking, half free and half paid. This solution is located just outside the walls of Arezzo. If you have suitcases I recommend the very comfortable escalators that lead inside the walls from the parking lot; from there the B&B can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot.
