Umbria and San Martino in Cantina: new wine and roasted chestnuts




    Sunday 11 November, in 15 cellars Umbrian spread throughout the region, the initiative will be held San Martino in Cantina to toast with new wine and roasted chestnuts.

    An unmissable opportunity to spend a wonderful day in the warmth of Umbrian countryside which, in this season of the year, knows its maximum splendor. The entrance to the cellars is free like the guided tours in vineyard and in the cellar, in the company of expert staff who will illustrate all winemaking processes, and the tasting of new wine. For a fee, however, will be the tasting itineraries that illustrate the top labels of the cellars in combination with the food and wine excellences of the territory.

    Among the various activities around wineries, the treasure hunt for adults and children organized by the Lungarotti cellars of Torgiano which will also involve the spaces of the MUVIT - Wine Museum, educational visits in the company of an oenologist at the Arnaldo Caprai farm in Montefalco and the "Typical Sunday lunch in the countryside" proposed by the Chiorri farm in Colle Umberto



    Only 18€ the country cooks offer bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, pennette with farmyard sauce, mixed grill with season and cake to the text, all washed down with a glass of the precious Umbrian wine.
