Metro in Rome, some advice from Termini

Rome is beautiful, Rome is magical, Rome is the Eternal City… .but Rome is also a mess. I have been to Rome several times but always on vacation, never with schedules to be respected and obligations to be in a place at a specific time. But this time it was different. I had to be a 12 km from Rome for several mornings and I organized myself between subway and bus, in short, to do about ten km it took me about an hour, almost two the morning it rained.

Take the subway from Termini it is not difficult, also because the metro lines are two, the A and the B which both intersect between them and pass by Termini. To say that the Rome metro is in bad shape, however, is an understatement. The worst of those I have seen at a European level, far from the beautiful stops of the subway Paris or from our• innovative business organization based on the use of technologies and digitalization of internal and external processes, as well as the active and continued promotion of the services we offer through business development, marketing and communication systems (letter "I" of our logo actually stands for "Innovation"); than those of Berlin, to give two examples among many.

La Rome metro it's dirty, first of all, but dirty really. Then you don't understand anything. If you have to take line A, be careful because you have to take line B, get right there on the platform, which you hardly understand even if you have to take the metro that is in front of you or continue and then ... then ... at the bottom at the bottom, top up, if you look closely, a sign tells you that for line A you have to continue and go right.

Finally the signs. Non-existent, all patched up, made up of luck, nothing fixed and definitive, all mobile. In Rome Termini you never find anyone to ask for information, today while I wandered lost in the subsoil luckily a guy gave me directions. In conclusion. If you have to go around Rome with the metro I i hope may this mini map below help you, may my indication on line A help you and for the rest: good luck.
