Catacombs of the Capuchins in Palermo, because I do not recommend them

First I'm sorry but I do not have

Le catacombs were among the recommended activities. The admission price is 3€. No problem, we pay and enter. They tell us that it is not possible to take pictures, yes ok, understood. We begin to descend and we find only corpses. The guide had warned us that it was not a very happy place, after all they are catacombs, yes ... but not so.

A place macabre and meaningless. A gallery of skeletons each of which dressed in the "original clothes". But not only that, also the section children. All the corpses hanging on the walls with names and surnames, year of birth and death, in short, an absurd and meaningless thing. At the end of the visit, which we interrupted in the middle, there was not even an explanation, that I know a tradition of these bodies or of the fact that they were placed like this, nothing, it was all nonsense.

Coming out of the catacombs I saw you enter families even with very little children and I wondered, but do they know what they are going to show their children? That's why I wrote this post, I do not recommend visiting children, families but also adults. I don't find the point in seeing corpses hanging on the walls and paying for it as well. Stay away.
