Marsala is also a land of entrepreneurs. More and more young Sicilians decide to invest everything in their origins and so did the owner of the Anabasis winery, Michelangelo Alagna. As young as its producer, Anabasis is a label and a winery that cannot be missed during a tour of the Marsala area. In fact, the tasting in this cellar is an invitation to Michelangelo's home. The family management, in fact, makes everything more real and exciting. The competence of its producer has led to the desire to use, in its production, only native vineyards, in purity, so as to enhance the properties of this land. The proposed labels are five, each thought out with care: from the variety to the name, each of them is autobiographical and at the same time respects universal values.

Anababis: the tasting journey

The tasting path in the Anabasis cellar is carried out directly inside the cellar, in contact with the aromas of the production process. Michelangelo presents each of his wines in great detail, each with its own culinary combination managed by the mother, the fundamental pivot of this journey of flavors.

It starts with a pure cricket, Aretè, perfect as an accompaniment to tastier foods, such as sardines with caponata, and then move on to zibibbo Phronesis together with olives. Sicilian cheeses, on the other hand, were accompanied by two versions of his Nero d'Avola. First the rosé is elegant Euphronesis and then the strongest and most decisive Catharsis, which contains all the scent of this land. Finally, the worthy conclusion of this tasting is the Pathei Mathos. This passito was born as an idea and production for only a year, but already with its own well-structured identity.
