Tenth edition of the Carpegna Ham Festival and three days (19-20-21 July) to get to know and taste this delicious gastronomic product that makes Carpegna in Montefeltro famous.
Organized by the Proloco of this small mountain town, tourists (and not only) will be able to juggle food stands, musical performances, tastings, motorcycle rallies and foot races in the middle of the villages and woods. Nice is the name dedicated to the motorcycle rally, that is Motoprocciuttata.
Friday 19 the fair will fill the town, for lunch and dinner you will find food stands and then lots of music at the Palatenda.
Saturday 20 you will find already in the morning the markets that will continue until Sunday evening, then lots of entertainment on the streets for children too. At 17 pm we will then taste the Carpegna PDO ham accompanied (God forbid!) by typical local wines.
Sunday 21th of instead we start with the foot race (walk-walk) in the middle of the villages of Carpegna and the motorcycle rally. After lunch the quadrangular football 'Trofeo Carpegna Prosciutti' and a snack will prepare the sandwich made of Carpegna Dop ham the longest in the world that will try to overcome the threshold of 90 meters.
