Il Plus Hostels is a hostel / hotel located in Berlin, practically behind theEast Side Gallery. The hostel is huge, I didn't think, the building that houses it was once upon a time textile art school and here the immense rooms explain the beautiful ceilings. Spacious and bright rooms with very large windows that just pass by you feel small.
I must say that the structure it's so great that I got lost every time I tried to go back to the room: D there are in fact beyond 600 beds and the building divides into hostel, first and second floor e hotels, third and fourth floors. On the top floor, where I was, there were gods mini apartments with fridge, table and two chairs, stove and pots.
The hostel obviously has the wifi throughout the hotel and both from the hall and from the swimming pool as well as from the rooms it is possible to always remain online. In addition, for those who do not travel with smartphones or laptops there are also 4/5 computers in the lobby as well as machines for food and drinks and sofas for waiting before and after the exit: D
Il bikes is always available even if, beware, the bikes have the brake in the pedals, for us Italians who are not used to it is a bit difficult even if fun, I have to admit. My room as mentioned was a mini apartment, two beds, wardrobe, television, table and two chairs and a bathroom so big that objectively I felt almost lost: D
The premises of the hostel are all very colorful, starting from the corridors and directions. Also chandeliers are curated and depicting works by famous artists, such as Klimt in the corridors, or composers of music, such as Beethoven in the restaurant.
La restaurant/ breakfast is located on the ground floor, almost underground. Here in the morning you have breakfast, sweet and savory with coffee and juices, while in the evening the room becomes restaurant with dishes mainly of the Italian tradition even if a little revisited by the cook :) but very good. In addition, in some evenings even mini concerts or performances by singers e local artists, very interesting.
