An authentic place, one very good beer, efficient waiters despite the crowd that always flocks to the place, good and quality tapas and rations.
Where is it? Alla Barceloneta, hidden in a small street between the main street of the neighborhood and one of the arteries leading to the sea, you will find "El vasito de Oro".
El vasito is a historical local, where you will find customers "de toda la vida" and fearless tourists who, driving in hand, challenge the queue that often forms outside the door of the restaurant. It is not too large and elongated in shape, with few tables to sit on and plenty of standing space around the bar counter.
Try to get there early so you can find a free hole and be on the front line. So you can enjoy your beer and taste one of the wonderful proposals of the vasito such as the "granjero" sandwich or the fillet with foie and onion.
My advice?
After a day on the beach, go to the vasito to refresh yourself, still dirty with sand and salt. Everything will seem even better! It's not a cheap place (it obviously depends on what you ask for), but it is absolutely worth it.
