We are Australia it is true, but the Thai cuisine here is still a "must", given the proximity and strong Asian presence.
If you are in the area of Bondi Beach, don't miss it Ricepot Restaurant. At 46 Hall St, this restaurant is dine in, take away and home delivery. To be in the center, it doesn't cost that much by Australian standards. An appetizer wanders around $ 10, the main courses instead around 15 $. Note that the take away costs 1 $ less compared to table service.
As for the dishes, I love vegetables, so I can only recommend the Vegetarian Fried Rice, for rice lovers, the Pad See-ewe, a pasta similar to maltagliati, but slightly longer, accompanied by grilled vegetables and chicken, and Pad Puk, or seasonal vegetables with tofu. In full Thai tradition it is impossible not to order rice to accompany the dishes; and there is something for all tastes: Jasmine, Basmati, Black rice ..
The place is full on weekends, so booking is recommended both for the table and for take away.
Remember that the restaurant is BYO, that is, in true australian style, you can bring your favorite beer or wine from home. Water is always offered by the restaurant. Last but not least, accept cash only.
