Felafel and a bit of the Middle East from Sabbaba to Bondi Beach

All '82 of Hall Strett, on the same street as the Thai Ricepot in Bondi Beach, is located Sabbaba. In a casual and friendly atmosphere, you can eat gods Felafel very fresh and delicious. For those who totally ignore it, felafel, literally "with lots of beans", are legume meatballs, typical of the Arab and Israeli region.

Sabbaba serves them cooked on the spot, classic with chickpeas and beans, or with basil. You can then decide to eat them in the typical Arabic bread, in a sandwich called Pita Pocket, accompanied by sauces and vegetables, or enjoy them on the plate, with just as many choices.

For those who are not fond of felafel, there are also plates of meat, chicken and fish. Absolutely to try the typical sweets of the Middle East, also displayed in the window: to be tempted just to see them !!

Il service is fast, and you can choose whether to sit at the tables made available, or enjoy everything at home with a take-away. Also for the wallet an excellent choice. Pita sandwiches are all around $ 9, the larger plates $ 15. And I assure you that you are satisfied! For 4.50$ you can have a bigger plate and a few more felafels. One idea is to take an "extended plate" in two people, like I did. I also recommend the local beer, it's cheaper and it's not that bad. Absolutely recommended for a dip in the Middle East on the other side of the world.
