"The nightlife”, The Spanish-style stay late that in XNUMXs in Madrid gave birth to an artistic and social movement that still fascinates half the world today. Alberto Garcia Alix he was part of it and today is considered one of the best known exponents of Spanish and contemporary photography. In the works of the Spanish author the fundamental characteristics of his production emerge clearly: extreme realism and refined use of black and white.
Famous for his portraits, in which he represents the human landscape that has gravitated and gravitates around him, to the Virreina until May 5th, Garcia Alix presents a self-portrait exhibition for the first time. A close-up on himself, therefore, on how he sees himself and himself, on how his idea of self-portrait has changed over time, on how his own life has changed.
Beautiful, well fitted and also free, the exhibition is the first monographic exhibition entirely dedicated to the author.
