Italienische Woche, as the Germans see us

Italienische Woche, as the Germans see us

A Frankfurt am Main this is the Italienische Woche: how Germans experience the culture, music and flavors of our country. In short, Italy according to their tastes, a mainly southern Italy, still in the sixties. From 27 July 2013 to 4 August 2013, the CityForum invites you to take a tour of Italy in the heart of Frankfurt.

Let's look at each other from their point of view, enter the comedy as spectators and live it!
It seems to be a fun exercise, especially given the interesting setting offered by the capital of Hesse: do not miss it Römerplatz, that is the ancient town square faithfully rebuilt after World War II, nor the pedestrian street called Zeil with shops, pubs, restaurants and clubs for the afterdinner, and a walk along the river Main, a visit to the Cathedral of Santa Caterina and to the Gothic-style Dom, built in the 14th century.

Frankfurt it is a city where the modern prevails over the historical, as dictated by force majeure; in which multiculturalism overcomes nationalism; in which modern art exhibitions are accompanied, in fact, by events that dust off national-popular traditions.

Let's trust it, let's spend a few days and re-evaluate it, after all it has been for years one of the centers of Central European culture and, today, it is the city that best allows the coexistence of financial and artistic-cultural life.
