Christmas in Barcelona: Torre Agbar and Fuente Magica, times and colors

For lovers of design buildings and plays of light, one of the icons of the skyline of Barcelona Agbar Tower (one of the first monuments that we can see when we enter the city coming from Girona airport) will turn into a giant Christmas tree for a few days.
For the uninitiated, the Tower was created by Jean Nouvel and inaugurated in 2005 which was inspired by the Montserrat reliefs that surround Barcelona and the shape of a water geyser that rises to the sky to give shape to this original building.

The tower has 4.500 light devices which use LED technology and which allow the creation of bright images over the entire surface of the building. Precisely for this reason, the municipality of Barcelona has decided to “light up” the Tower of lights and colors throughout the Christmas period, up to the day of the Befana (but remember here that the Befana does not exist, on January 6th the Magi are honored).
