Tuscan lunch in Sassetta, the Enoteca was once upon a time

Tuscan lunch in Sassetta, the Enoteca was once upon a time

Sassetta is a small town in the Province of Livorno. You do not get there by chance, it is not a tourist destination, perhaps you can only go there if you are headed on Costa degli Etruschi or in the much more famous and beautiful suvereto. In case you are on the street and you get hungry there is a wine shop, theOnce upon a time there was a wine shop that I can recommend.

Here is the tourist menu, appetizer, first course, dessert and drinks included, even coffee actually a € 15 per person. The food is not that great although the starters are very good. The wine is that of the house and if you pass here on a beautiful sunny day you can eat abroad while intrepid Germans whiz past on their bicycles.

For a break and a small refreshment it is worthwhile, I do not recommend the menu, however, save if you eat by nibbling and dividing the dishes, even to try a little of everything. The place is cheap, family management and very nice.
