Cittie of Yorke: the tradition of English pubs in London

I pub di London they are a historical heritage of great value for the city, for the English they represent more or less what squares are for us Italians: a place in which to meet friends, exchange ideas, opinions and obviously enjoy a pint of beer.
A few days ago I happened upon one of the most characteristic pubs I've ever seen, the Cittie of Yorke.

A bronze coat of arms hanging on the facade of the building testifies that inside the pub only beers prepared in the oldest brewery in Yorkshire are served, and even inside the pub time seems to have stopped.
Once you enter the Cittie of Yorke it seems to be on the set of a medieval film, dark wooden alcoves offer privacy to customers, the high ceiling gives space to ancient beer barrels that give the place a truly unique atmosphere.

No music or television, as befits the originals Public Houses English, leave the silence that is needed for a good chat with friends, in front of a nice pint of beer, cheap and 100% British.
It is not in one of the most touristic areas of London, Chancery Lane, but if you happen to be around here it must be a must on your tour.
