Lady Jane in Bruges, a splendid b & b in Belgium

Looking for cheap accommodation a Bruges it's not easy at all. If on the one hand a Brussels had gone fat, in Bruges the search was longer and unfortunately expensive: Approximately € 70 per double room per night. We willingly spent this money because in reality the b & b had all the things we needed, double bed, Wireless, breakfast… Although unfortunately it did not have a bathroom in the room.

We booked and just arrived at b & b Lady Jane we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful house. Cozy and warm, this house is spread over 3 floors. Each floor has one bedroom, with the exception of the top floor which has two bedrooms and a bathroom to be divided between them. We were right on the top floor in the Lady Jane room. The room is really wide, enchanting and tastefully decorated.

There is everything you need for a stay of great comfort from TV to DVD including informative DVD of the city. Also a table with two chairs for breakfast in the morning, an armchair and a comfortable chest of drawers where you can find several towels and bath towels at our complete disposal. Outside the room the kettle for tea and coffee and a large table where breakfast was left in the morning. Also microwave and fridge for any dinners in the room. The b & b is located a street outside the historic center a 5 minutes walk from the main square and a few minutes frombus which leads directly to the station, quite convenient.

Upon arrival you will be provided with keys on entry and even returning late in the evening you will find small lights in the corridors and stairs to avoid stumbling, as well as small stacks scattered around the house to avoid unpleasant inconveniences. Our bathroom was shared with another couple who we never saw! The bathroom has a huge tub and is really nice and very clean.

As soon as we arrived, the owner showed us the room and left us a big book with, written in several languages, tips on where to eat in Bruges or how to get around to visit the city. A tip: I booked on Booking.com but only later on the b & b website did I notice that by booking directly from the site I would also have two bicycles for hire for free use, so just in case, book from the site!

Finally, a separate paragraph should be dedicated to breakfast. Don't think that just because you have breakfast in your room it will be scarce or not abundant. We were served every morning two bottles of milk, two of juice and two of chocolate milk, also 4 mini brioches and bread with butter, jam and chocolate. As if that were not enough, the owner also left some other bread with different types of cold cuts and cheese which we promptly used to make sandwiches and take them away for lunch: more low cost than that;)
