At the foot of a pine forest, between the Trafalgar lighthouse and the town of The Caños de MecaOnce an oasis of the hippies, but still welcoming and relaxing today despite its recent tourist development, there are beautiful beaches typical of the wild Costa de la Luz of the province of Cadiz with cliffs and large rocks by the sea. The center, not very large but ideal for an evening stroll, is animated by bars and restaurants.

The town takes its name from the Auténticos Caños, small freshwater cascades that flow from an underground aquifer that can reach a height of 100 meters.

Near Los Canos de Meca is located cape of trafalgar, a strip of land where in 1805 the Spanish fleet was defeated by the British Admiral Nelson. The Natural Park protects the 100 meters of high cliffs and pine forests immediately found in the eastern part of Los Canos de Meca

During the summer, Los Caños can also be reached by bus from Seville and is usually well connected with the cities of Cadiz and Barbate. The best wayand to reach Losa Canos de Meca it is still the rental car.
