Il Roseate House London it is a fabulous property. A 4 stars area Lancaster Gate: it is located exactly between Hyde Park and the train and underground station of Paddington. The location is really convenient both for getting around during the travel days - in fact it is only 5 minutes from the station - and for those arriving late at night from the airports. For example Heathrow Express arrives directly here even until late in the evening.

The Hotel has tons of rooms, unfortunately our room was on the lower level. This meant that the view from our window was a wall. Not very nice although the room was very comfortable. After trying several hotels in London I know that here a 4 star always has one star less and so the 3 stars and the 2 stars. Consequently, in my opinion, in this city it is always better to spend a little more on the Hotel and save on more.
A great breakfast
La kindness of the staff it is unique, really. Nice, kind and understanding (the first morning in the room I could not find the hairdryer and they came immediately to bring it to me).
Also the real big surprise, in addition to the bedside cookies we found every day, was the breakfast method. Choose a hotel with breakfast in London it is essential for me even if there are very few that include it in the price. But if you can take it, don't hesitate. In terms of low cost, it will be useful to eat less for lunch, which in an expensive city like London is not bad at all.
In the evening before going to sleep you have to fill out a form menu and hang it on the handle of the room. In the form, very nice, you have to enter the name, the number of people, the time you want to have breakfast and the place: in the room, in the garden or in the garden view room. There are 3 types of breakfast Continental, the one I had, the english breakfast and breakfast a la carte. Choose to include it when booking, otherwise it will cost you more!
The continental offers different types of tea, long coffee, espresso, double espresso, chocolate, plus muffins, brioches, both white and wholemeal bread with jams and butter, as well as orange juice, pineapple and two other types of juice. In short, a good breakfast.
The breakfast plan offers more like it yogurt, the cereals and other muffin, so if you feel like you prefer breakfast in the dining room, it reserves other "surprises". The bed is four-poster and the marble bathroom is clean and equipped. The rooms are not too small as we are used to in London standards, finally there is also a large television, but discreet.
In the hall there are several rooms with fireplace, which is lit on the coldest days, elegant sofas and chairs and at Christmas a large well decorated tree in the center of the room. Really a place to stop pleasantly and have a chat.
I prices vary according to the season, a 4-star hotel in London in this location is not very cheap and perhaps it is not even too recommended for families, but more for couples, although I also saw a group of young friends. A normal weekend with no parties in between costs just under € 200 per double room breakfast included.
