London low cost, how to get there

I just got back from London - absolutely one of my favorite cities - there is little to say, if you've been there, you know what I'm talking about, if you've never been there yet or if you're planning a trip, well, know that I think it's the cities in Europe more like (with all the necessary distinctions) in New York.

Here is the advantage which, unlike the Big Apple, is so close at hand ...
If you pay attention and choose the right times, flights and hotels, it is not difficult to plan one long weekend low cost.

As you may have guessed it was not my first time in London, but I was finally able to stop and settle in for a whole week. With D. we alternated moments of culture and long walks in the many parks to one Shopping Tour through the fashion metropolis of Europe.

    Who said London is expensive?
London is huge and the shopping opportunities - consequently - endless. Enough maybe know what to look for and where. In the street markets that contribute to making the city famous there are so many low cost deals; and then there are still huge shopping centers, vintage shops and oxford street, one of the most important streets for it London shopping

Ma let's go in order: let's start as we like, with low cost deals. Given my love for London - okay, I confess, I try to go there at least once a year - and previous travel experiences, we have finally decided to fly with EasyJet. The manners of Ryanair staff, especially at London airport, seemed almost brutal to us, bordering on extreme rudeness and rudeness. I wouldn't generalize, maybe we ran into the wrong people, but a couple of unpleasant experiences for us were more than enough.

The choice of EasyJet proved right: very nice staff at the airport, no discussion on weight (shape or size) of hand luggage (no repeated inspections by RyanAir guardians ready to sanction you purse or fanny pack), timely and comfortable flight I arrive in Luton.

    Luton to London
The possibilities for achieving the City they are varied. The fastest is the train which departs from the railway station of Parkway (reachable by a shuttle bus from the airport in 10 min) which costs xxx euros and arrives directly at London station St. Pancras International in 30 minutes.

THEcheaper alternative (round trip approx. 13 euros), our favorite was the bus. There are several companies that connect Luton to central London (Baker Street tube station): Green Line, National Express, Easy Bus and other local companies. The best thing is to contact - upon arrival at the airport - one of the many desks of the bus companies and ask what the first departure is. Transfers are quite frequent.

At this point you can decide whether to wait for the bus of the cheapest company or jump on the first one towards the hotel. At the desks you can obviously buy the Tickets also for the return. To get an idea of the companies, their frequency and prices, take a look at the website of theLuton airport.
