Fly2Share, shared passage cost halved

    Fly2Share, shared passage cost halved

Today I met Fly2Share, which by the way goes online today. A free portal that allows travelers arriving at an airport agree to share a means of transport (private car, taxi, car rental) to return home or to reach a common destination, thus also sharing the costs of the transfer (petrol, highway, parking, etc.).

The project made me think so much about "I leave with the madman“, The fil, I don't know if you've seen it. The two find themselves forced to share a ride in the car. Here, this may or may not appeal to those who rent a car, the idea in my mind was very nice when it came to me, it is certain that it is about making short routes, not hundreds and hundreds of km like in the film :)

Anyway, Fly2Share is ideal for reaching locations not served from public / private transport or to facilitate the transfer from the airport when the existing means are not very efficient in terms of timetables and costs. Often I happened to take a bus or train from the airport to the city center which, with low cost flights, cost me almost as much as the flight itself!

The portal was structured as a social network, integrating a messaging system and notifications that facilitate the sharing agreement. But who designed the service?

Marco Coraini with 2 friends in response to the costs that often arose when we had to return home after a plane trip. “For example, when I lived in Lugano and traveled to Bergamo, I had to take a bus and a train (passing through Milan) to return home… practically a journey within a journey! Fly2share aims to be a fast, economical and efficient alternative to this type of clutch. "

How about, do you like it as a transport idea?
