There is a wide and varied type of restaurants where you can eat in the United States. Americans love to eat and this can also be seen on the street, with one of the most complete restaurant offers in the world.

In a multi-ethnic country like the United States, cooking is also very influential. Practically you can find any type of cuisine: Chinese, Italian, Indian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, ...

On a trip or vacation to America, the culinary aspect has become an important factor of the trip. Tourists love this vast culinary offer and take advantage of it by varying between breakfast, lunch and dinner.



Many of the restaurants are fast food, but it's not like Spain where there are few fast food chains. In America they exist hundreds of fast food chains, each specialized with certain menus and types of cuisine.

The opening hours are different. Some restaurants such as fast food outlets are open 24 hours a day.

Breakfast

Not all restaurants are open for breakfast. Those that do (mostly fast-food and canteen rooms), serve eggs, toast, pancakes, cereals, coffee, etc.. Most restaurants stop serving breakfast between 10:00 and 11:00. Some, especially in shopping malls, serve breakfast all day.

La Continental breakfast it is a term used mainly by hotels and motels to describe a cold breakfast offered of cereals, breads, muffins, fruit,…; milk, fruit juices, hot coffee and tea are the typical drinks. There is usually a toaster for bread. This is a quick and convenient way to eat large in the morning.


Lunch

Lunch can be a good time to eat at a restaurant when dinners are out of your price range. Have lunch in a restaurant it's cheaper than dining.

Some restaurants offer Tourist menus at fairly cheap prices. One of the most used solutions by tourists who want to eat in abundance are the All you can eat, a formula where with a certain price you can eat whatever you want. You just have to pay for the drinks.

Also i fast food they are a great inexpensive and quick way to eat. The prices are much lower than in a classic restaurant and it is the ideal solution for those with limited time.

Price

Dinner is the main meal of the day. Depending on the culture, region, and personal preference, it is usually enjoyed between 17: 00 and 21: 00 hours. Most restaurants are willing to give you a box for leftover food (generally referred to as a “to-go box”). Advance reservations are a good idea if the restaurant is very busy

I buffet

Buffets are generally an inexpensive way to eat large amounts of food. The price of buffet lunches and dinners is fixed, consequently the more dishes you taste, the more the cost of the single dish tasted is lowered, even if the quality of the food is not always the best. Generally, buffets serve American or Chinese food.



Buffets are one of the cheapest options for eat in Las Vegas. The large hotels in the gambling capital of the world organize huge buffets for both lunch and dinner. And the prices are cheap enough to attract more players to their casinos.

Brunch

Many restaurants serve brunch on Sundays, served from morning until early afternoon, with both breakfast and lunch items. In most cases there is often a buffet. The quality and price of meals can vary from restaurant to restaurant, so if you can inquire online or on the spot first.


Tip

Tipping or tips in the United States it's almost an obligation. After you have finished eating, you will normally leave a tip when paying the bill 15% more. This can be lower if you were not satisfied with the service, or higher if the service was truly excellent. In fast food restaurants it is not a must because there is no table service
