Busch Gardens Tampa: attractions, ticket prices and how to get there

Il Busch Gardens Tampa is a splendid one theme and wildlife park of 140 acres located in Tampa a 90 km from Orlando, Florida. Opened on March 31, 1959, it was initially opened as a free entertainment venue for employees of the famous Tampa Anheuser-Busch Brewery.

This park, after almost 60 years, still is one of the main attractions of Florida. About 5 million visitors visit Busch Gardens Tampa each year. The success of this park are the extraordinary mountains and the incredible attractions inside, the particularly accurate theming, the many various species of animals housed and the suggestive shows.

Busch Gardens Tampa is park owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and it is their second largest park in terms of attendance, behind SeaWorld Orlando, also Florida.

The main theme of the park is the African continent and the species of fauna and flora that inhabit it. The perfect theming of the wildlife areas and the presence of a multitude of species of animals from the African continent makes it one of the best wildlife parks of the planet.

The park also hosts 8 roller coasters and various attractions, 2 of which are aquatic, in the various thematic areas. Being all attractions perfectly themed and of good or excellent level, it also makes it one of the best theme parks of the United States and beyond.

Next to the park there is the Adventure Island water park, also owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. To access the water park you need a second ticket, or you can buy packages that include admission to both parks. Packages are available that also include admission to parks operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando.
