Budapest nightlife and Sziget Festival

Budapest is a living city discovered and rediscovered by many in recent years. In both summer and winter there is always a good reason to visit Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube.

Its vitality is known by young people who often find in the streets and along the river of the city beautiful places to dine or have fun low cost. Among the places to recommend for live music but also for its atmosphere, the Fat Mo. This place in V. Nyari Pàlu number 11 is well known for Mexican music and dishes, an unusual but perfect combination. The restaurant is located not far from the center at the M3 Kálvin tér metro stop.

In the summer Budapest changes and for a week it turns into Woodstock on the Danube with the musical festivaland best known in Europe. The Sziget Festival for over 15 years it has been offering a great event of music and shows with singers, creatives and artists of international fame. This year the numbers are truly impressive with over 1000 non-stop shows and 70 campers ready to target every pitch in Budapest.

The Sziget Festival is a great time to share musical passion with that for the journey with many other young Europeans and non-Europeans. What we haven't said yet is the cost. Thinking of Woodstock we imagined a free event, but this is where we are wrong, the cost is quite high. If you don't want to think about parking tents and the daily admission price and take a all inclusive package the cost is high.

If you prefer to move independently, maybe in hitch-hiking and try to get there in a low cost way, the price drops. Or you can rely on advice. The price of the admission ticket is still high, around 42 euros per day, but in this way you will save a lot of euros.
