The garden is cared for by volunteers, who every first and third Saturday of the month welcome anyone who wants to try their hand at a two-hour gardening session, thus rediscovering nature; while every Thursday the session lasts three hours. The Jetty is one subway stop from the North Greenwich, one stop from Canary Wharf and four from London Bridge.

Along the way, you can admire works of art on permanent display, which include two sculptures by the British artist Damien Hirst and the pop artist Allen Jones. The arches are adorned with the works of Morag Myerscough.
