La Piazzetta delle Conserve di Cesenatico it's one of my favorite places. In this corner of Cesenatico it seems to be in a small village where the market is still held in the morning with the country products that are brought every day by small producers.
The Piazzetta delle Conserve is a corner of the city where the houses are all colored, the doors delightfully contrasting and the shade, in summer, always guaranteed. The name of this square derives from the fact that food products were once stored here. In the center of the square there is in fact a huge hole where the products were lowered and covered with salt so that during the year everything could be kept cool and without deteriorating and being eaten by the inhabitants of the city.
A tour in this square is a must for its history but also for its beauty, I don't think you will regret it.
