Maxxi Museum in Rome, exhibitions and information

Maxxi Museum in Rome, the museum located in the Flaminio district, modern architecture and many temporary exhibitions that enrich the capital, find out practical information, how to get there and timetables.

The first time I was at Maxxi Museum, I admit, it was thanks to my friend with a degree in architecture. She had come to visit me in Rome and she nevertheless wanted to see the Maxxi, I had never seen it and so I was happy to accompany her also because she was not too far from my house. I lived in Prati and the Maxxi Museum is located in the Flaminio district.

The Maxxi Museum looks like a huge structure, massive from the outside, light inside with many suspended elements, which accentuate even more the two faces of this beautiful museum built by the architect Zaha Hadid.

Particular activities

During my last visit to the Maxxi, I realized that the Maxxi Foundation lends itself to many and various activities, one of all that particularly struck me is the Yoga and Meditation at Maxxi. Starting from September 5th, Yoga and Meditation takes place every Saturday and Sunday of the month at the Maxxi Museum, in collaboration with YogaFestival. I honestly believe that doing yoga and meditation in such a beautiful place shouldn't be difficult, indeed particularly stimulating.

Francesca, who lives in Rome, talks about the event more specifically in her blog Traveling alone.
