The next will leave on December 7st a San Marco dei Cavoti, in the province of Benevento, the twelfth edition of the "Festival of nougat and croccatino“, An event not to be missed for all gourmands and chocolate lovers who will be able to taste the products offered in the numerous stands within the event.
The event will last until Sunday on December 23st and will cover the entire historic center of the charming village. The party will be presented as a riot of toasted hazelnuts, sugar and cocoa which are the unmistakable ingredients of the crunchy. Another protagonist will be the Nougat, the link between the end of the tradition of early November and Christmas just around the corner. There will also be a host of many typical local products such as the cheese al vincotto, oil and cured meats.
Not just a gastronomic route rather a journey towards the discovery of the country: during the festival guided tours will be organized along the historic center and the Tower Clock Museum. Musical and folkloristic performances will also be organized, aimed at cheering even the purchase of some small handicraft jewels in the shops open for the occasion.
Furthermore, it will be possible during the whole period of the event stop with your camper in the pitch equipped by the Confraternity of Mercy.
