Dupont Circle: for young people and nightlife
Dupont Circle is a historian trendy neighborhood of Washington. It is famous for its night clubs, bars, cafes, art galleries and shops. The main nightlife areas are located along Connecticut Ave and P St west of the Circle and 17th between P and T St.
Although Dupont Circle is a convenient neighborhood to stay and well connected to the rest of the city, but offers few green spaces and outdoor activities, so it is not the best choice to stay for a family with children. Georgetown: for families with children
Georgetown is the oldest part of the city, with buildings dating back to 1751. The area is very quaint with exclusive shops and restaurants, French-style cafes and cupcakers, and quaint XNUMXth and XNUMXth century terraced houses lined with narrow, cobbled streets reminiscent of old Europe.
Situated on cliffs overlooking the Potomac River, Georgetown is the best area to stay in DC for families traveling with children. The neighborhood offers a number of good restaurants, sights, fascinating attractions, outdoor activities, large parks and gardens.

Foggy Bottom: convenient and central location
Located in the West End of the city, between the Potomac River and the White House, Foggy Bottom is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. It is home to George Washington University, one of the most prestigious universities in the city, and a beautiful stretch of waterfront where the Watergate Complex and the Kennedy Center, a performing arts center are located.
Due to its very convenient and central location, Foggy Bottom is one of our favorite areas to stay in Washington. The neighborhood is home to many shops, bars and restaurants. It is a very comfortable and safe place to stay, however, the accommodation available is very limited and therefore it is necessary to book well in advance.
La subway station of Foggy Bottom, located on the campus of George Washington University, is served by the Blue, Orange and Silver metro lines. From Foggy Bottom with a short walk of about 10-15 minutes on foot, you reach the White House and the National Mall.

Capitol Hill: one of the safest areas
Capitol Hill is a wonderful neighborhood just east of the Capitol and one of the most recommended to stay in Washington. Located on a hill, is the main residential area of the city for the legislative and judicial branches of the United States government, so it is also a fairly safe area.

Logan Circle is a historic district in Washington named after the historic roundabout. AND one of the best and cheapest areas to stay in Washington. It is a very interesting area to sleep with many exclusive shops, especially concentrated around 14th street, and various trendy elegant restaurants and bars.
The beautiful Victorian-style buildings make walking through Logan Circle's boulevards very pleasant. The area offers many large hotels where to sleep and some small B & Bs, which also offer fewer services.
The area has no metro stops within its boundaries, but there are several surrounding the relatively small neighborhood, and the area is well served by other types of public transport. The center can also be easily reached on foot, the White House is a 15 minute walk and the National Mall 20 minutes.
