The spectacle of the Bellagio Fountains (The Fountains of Bellagio), è one of the main attractions of Las Vegas. The fountains during the show offer a suggestive choreography with water, light and music shows.
The performances take place on the lake in front of the Bellagio hotel, one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas, and are visible from numerous vantage points on the Strip, both from the street and from nearby facilities.
The best points where to enjoy the show are on the terrace located in front of the main entrance, from the terraces of the Bellagio and the nearby hotels, or from the side positions on the sidewalk on the Strip.
The show takes place every 30 minutes during the afternoon, while in the evening every 15 minutes. Two minutes before the show starts, the fountain nozzles protrude slightly from the water basin and the hotel tower changes color to shades such as purple, red or blue.
The show is free, to attend the Bellagio Fountains show you don't have to pay a ticket. This makes them one of the most beautiful and spectacular free attractions in the world.
There are various pieces of music used for fountain choreography shows such as: Elvis Presley's "Viva Las Vegas", Céline Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA", Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence", "Luck Be a Lady ”by Frank Sinatra, and“ Your Song ”by Elton John. More than 1200 nozzles and about 4500 lights. The nozzles have various functions, from those that offer jets with a full range of spherical movements to those that offer more powerful jets for overhead jets. The most powerful ones allow water jumps up to 73 meters, moreover since 2005 they have been added 16 nozzles allow you to throw water 140 meters high.

From Monday to Friday the shows start from 15:00. The frequency from 15:00 to 20:00 is every 30 minutes, while from 20:00 to 24:00 it is every 15 minutes.
On Saturdays and public holidays the shows start from 12:00. The frequency from 12:00 to 20:00 is every 30 minutes, while from 20:00 to 24:00 it is every 15 minutes.
On Sunday the shows start from 11:00. The frequency from 11:00 to 19:00 is every 30 minutes, while from 19:00 to 24:00 it is every 15 minutes.

In case of bad weather or in strong winds, the shows are canceled or carried out with less power, to prevent the higher throws from going with the wind to wet the whole audience.
