    Yellowstone National Park

    Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the US state of Wyoming, although it also extends into the Montana and in 'Idaho. Yellowstone National Park has thousands of miles of trails spread across 2,2 million acres, steep peaks, explosive geysers, alpine lakes, deep forests, and a large number of wildlife. The park is also home to Old Faithful, the legendary geyser that was discovered in 1870 and erupts every 92 minutes, del Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, the largest hot spring in America and more than 3,400 square miles of desert. Also, visiting it has a high chance of seeing animals such as buffaloes and bears up close.

    Yellowstone is the largest active geyser field in the world. Home to about half of the world's geysers, Yellowstone is home to over 10.000 hot springs and geysers. Some of them erupt 300 times a year and many do so with a precise frequency… There are several important geyser basins that visitors can explore via paved walkways or paths. The most famous geyser in the park, and possibly in the world, is Old Faithful Geyser, located inUpper Geyser Basin. Castle Geyser, Lion Geyser e Beehive Geyser they are found in the same basin. The Old Faithful geyser erupts approximately every 91 minutes.

    Yellowstone National Park is the flagship of the National Park Service and visited by more than 4 million visitors annually. The park is a great destination for all family members because it offers various activities for everyone to enjoy. While driving the ring road, visitors can see the park in comfort from inside their vehicle and even take a break at one of the many picnic areas along the way.

    L’Upper Geyser Basin, Yellowstone's largest geyser basin (over 150) and indeed the world's largest concentration of hot springs, occupies about one square mile. Most of these springs are located a few hundred meters from the Firehole River. It is recommended that those planning to visit the Upper Geyser Basin spend a good portion of their time here.

    Geyser Old Faithful
    - Old Faithful is the most famous geyser in America. It was discovered in 1870 by the Washburn Expedition. The Old Faithful geyser has erupted more than a million times since Yellowstone became the world's first national park in 1872. On average, Old Faithful erupts every 92 minutes or so, and shoots water 135 feet into the air. Rashes can last anywhere from one and a half minutes to up to five minutes.

    Entrance fees to the park

    North Entrance - Gardiner, MT, is the park's only entrance open to wheeled vehicles year-round and is the busiest due to ease of access. Before deciding on the route, consult the official website of the park to find out all the information on the roads, the opening of which changes according to the months of the year and not all are suitable for the entry of particular vehicles.

    Where stay

    The best way to answer this question is to decide how much time you have and what you want to see more of. If you are planning on visiting Yellowstone National Park for just a few days West Yellowstone it would be a good starting point. If you want to have a full park experience then maybe stay at Old faithful it would be a good choice. If you want to see mainly wildlife then we recommend the Northeast entrance and a short trip to the lamar valley. The south entrance is a great option if you have more time and want to visit the Grand Teton National Park. The north entrance is home to the park and has information on its history.     When is the best time to visit the park?

    This depends on the interests of the visitors. Spring has abundant wildlife, abundant waterfalls but not easily predictable weather: it can snow or be hot. Summer has it all including a large crowd too. If you want to avoid it, leave early to visit the park! Fall is a special time of year for wildlife and a nice option for visiting.
