WMFF - World Music Film Fest in Milan

    Il World Music Film Fest di Milan takes place from8 March to 4 April and for the third edition it offers a film review that explores musical phenomena and its most important exponents through films, short films and documentaries.

    The projection space is divided between the venues Ligera space (via Padova 133) and the Santeria (via Paladini 8). Among the goodies of this festival three films not distributed in Italy and visible for the first time outside major festivals. The films that can be seen are Coração Vagabundo, a documentary on the Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist Caetano Veloso, Gainsbourg, on the life of Serge Gainsbourg and Death makes me laugh. La vita no, documentary on Piero Ciampi.



    Among the various films there is also a tribute to Arcade Fire with the documentary Miroir Noir by Vincent Morisset, Step across the Border visual work by Nicholas Humbert and Werner Penzel to music by Fred Frith or Emir Kusturica, author of Super8 Stories, a documentary that follows the No Smoking tour.

    THEentrance to each screening is € 2 plus the annual membership card of La Scheggia, the partner association of the event. All films will be in original language and subtitled. The complete program can be found on the World Music Film Fest website.
