Abundant tapas of excellent quality: flamenquín, cod, caña de lomo and fillet with potatoes and goat cheese. And if for once you want to taste an excellent Andalusian wine, you will find a wide choice here. The price is always the same: 10-15 euros each.
Bodeguita La Parihuela, pasaje de Vila n ° 12
A colleague of mine, exhausted by my requests, took me to this little place: “I want to eat as the Sevillians eat”. In the heart of the city, in Santa Cruz neighborhood, this small tapas bar is ideal for a tasty lunch break or for an aperitif before dinner. I was enchanted by the flavors of Iberian cured meats, cheeses and olives. A tapa and a glass of wine or beer wander around around the euro 4. A gem: do you want to be a true Sevillian? Eat standing up at the bar counter and leave your seats to the tourists.
El Faro de Triana, puente de Isabel II
In one of the typical neighborhoods of Seville, El Faro de Triana offers good and abundant fish specialties: fried, grilled squid and cod. There are two, one in the Cathedral area, the other near Plaza de la Encarnación, but in both you will enjoy good Andalusian cuisine at really low cost prices.
Not just tapas, but also croutons platters with salmorejo and jamón, fillet with potatoes and hamburger. The quality of the food is great and the service is fast. The only drawback: you will have to wait 10 to 15 minutes before having a table, but it will be really worth it. And while the waiter writes your name on the slate and wait to be called, enjoy a small Andalusian aperitif: tinto di verano, olives and jamón.
Casi Casi, Gran Plaza Nervión, Sevilla
It is not a tourist area, in the terraces of the Large square you will only find genuine Sevillians, but if you happen to take a walk to the Nervión shopping center or the nearby Cortes Inglés, I highly recommend this lovely tapas bar in shades of blue and white.
Now it has changed ownership, and if the former was really good, the latter is excellent. The tapas are abundant and well prepared. The leg of duck with orange is very good, the homemade potato tortilla is fantastic and the prawn salad is what you need at the aperitif. The bar is also a café and serves excellent homemade desserts. My favorite? Nougat cake. The price for two tapas, a drink and a coffee is about 10-12 euro.
