Where to eat in Barceloneta: Can Maño

Where to eat in Barceloneta: Can Maño

Small, old and not very appealing.
Take a seafood restaurant area of Barceloneta. In one of its best known streets.

Go back in time, when there were still paper placemats in the restaurant, the menu had no salt, aromatic herbs and pink salt, but only squid, cuttlefish, mackerel and various fried.
Mix everything, together with a heterogeneous audience and an account that cannot be more low cost and you will get the classic and well-known restaurant Can Maño.

It has no sign, but you will surely find it when you see a small entrance, illuminated with strong neon lights and a queue that generally suggests that you will have to wait that evening before filling your stomach.
As I said, no aritifici and delicatessene at Can Maño, but only fresh fish cooked in the simplest form there is.

Yesterday we had dinner with: squid, sardines and grilled mackerel, fried artichokes and pan con tomate (plus a glass of wine, water and soda) to 10 euro each.
The only negative note is the pan con tomate, a poor and even dry baguette.
Also very valid in times of lean (diet and wallets).
