When to go to Japan

    When to go to Japan

Many people there they often ask what is the best time to travel to Japan.

The best times are certainly there spring and autumn, unfortunately, however, not everyone can take holidays from work or breaks from studies. Let's analyze in detail the various periods of the year:

    Winter:
The climate is more or less similar to a normal Italian winter. In this period there are very beautiful areas of Japan to visit such as Hokkaio, which is the northernmost island of Japan, however, also recommended at other times of the year when the landscape is not covered by snow and can be admired. the expanses of lavender.
In winter, to be precise, at the end of January, in Hokkaido in the city of Sapporo, the Yuki Matsuri, or the snow festival, is held, a festival in which you will have the opportunity to admire impressive ice sculptures.
The rest of Japan is more or less the same this season.

    Spring:
Definitely the best time of year to take a trip to Japan. In the period between mid / late March and early April, Japan is tinged with pink and white thanks to the blooming of sakura or cherry trees. Parties and picnics under the flowering trees are very frequent. The temperature is ideal, and the cities become truly unique, especially Kyoto, Nara, Nikko, Kamakura. Kyoto in this period with its temples and gardens certainly becomes one of the most beautiful cities in the world, an experience that if you have the opportunity at least once in your life you have to do.
Even the modern and sparkling Tokyo is tinged with a special atmosphere!
In short, Japan changes dress in spring, I repeat by far the most beautiful time of the year!

    Summer:
Here the pains begin: the Japanese summer is very hot, not so much for the temperature more or less in line with the Italian one, but for the high humidity rate, due to the tsuyu, rainy season in June that leaves us as inheritance to the following months precisely the humidity.
The positive note of this period are the abundant presence of traditional festivals, Matsuri, and large fireworks from August to the end of September.
For those who can take vacation only during this period, don't worry too much, you can do it anyway, you will perhaps be just a little more tired in the evening!

    Autumn:
Also this period is absolutely to visit Japan, even here the same speech made for spring is valid with the exception that the period is characterized by the darkening of the leaves.
Particularly characteristic is the so-called blush of momiji, or the beautiful Japanese maples. Surely in this period, besides Kyoto, a visit to the city of Nikko is a must!

A trip to Japan is a 'unique experience no matter what time of year you choose to do it, each season has its pros and cons!
