Visit Genoa with Citysightseeing

    Visit Genoa with Citysightseeing

After an interminable day spent between rows and stands at theGenova's aquarium, cheering children at the City of children, and a time that seemed to threaten water in ponds, while we are walking towards the hotel a double-decker bus with the inscription passes right in front of us Genoa Citysightseeing. I had already written about it for Rimini when the summer service was activated in the Romagna city a few months ago. Not having tried it yet in my life, so we chose to get on it starting from the Genova Principe station, a stone's throw from the hotel in via Doria that hosted us.

I spent 15 €, free for my three year old daughter, valid for 48 hours and with the possibility of getting on and off at will between the eight stops of the tour. As soon as we get on we are given the earphones since at each session there is a keyboard to attach to to listen to the audio guide in eight languages.

The city tour it lasts almost an hour and let's say that there is not much talk about it, I expected more. However, for those like me who have only two days to get around the city, it is an excellent way to see the most evocative views and places of Genoa, possibly making a note of the area you prefer to visit best. The visit provides eight stops, and also I have used it in the traditional bus form so getting off in Piazza De Ferrari, the most important of the cities, to visit the nearby theater Carlo Felice and then make a 'swipe' in the streets of Genoese nightlife and shopping.

We then went up a few stops further on, on the other hand a CitySightseeing bus passes every 20 minutes.

Considering the validity of 48 hours and the fact that a tour guide would have cost me more, I would say that the price of 15 euros was all there. Above all, by keeping the ticket, this entitles you to further discounts in the cities where the service is present.
