Vintage shops, where to find them in Amsterdam

Vintage shops, where to find them in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is crowded with interesting shops, there are not only shopping centers, but also boutique shops and major brands to satisfy everyone's needs. It must also be said that the Dutch love to put their own house in plain sight, perhaps on the ground floor and without curtains. They love to decorate it and peek inside it, put objects on display and walk inside as if nothing had happened caution not to take these houses for shops ^ _ ^

The area that I liked most is certainly the one between Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Singel, called among other things De Negen Straatjes, 9 streets. These are: Reestraat, Hartenstraat, Gasthuis Molenstraat, Berenstraat, Wolvenstraat, Oude Sèiegelstraat, Runstraat, Huidenstraat and Wijde Heisteeg. Here are the first designer shops, vintage shops that sell clothes, but also lamps and antiques up to real art galleries.

Among these shops I was very impressed with the one of Carla Palermo, a woman who created her own from nothing here vintage negotiation. I was also about to buy us a coat. The difference from the other shops that I have seen is that the clothes here do not look absolutely like second-hand. A 70 € coat, which for vintage could be considered a substantial price, seemed normal to me because I didn't consider it vintage: D

The environment is absolutely relaxed, the shop very nice, the clothes all hung with great style, but above all the garments have a certain quality. In short, a real vintage shop. I'll buy the next time I come back boots in the shop window. His specific shop is in Huidenstraat 4.
