Trip out of town to Rome, Parco dei Mostri in Bomarzo

In these days of spring the outings begin to visit characteristic places and immerse yourself in nature which expresses all its strength with flowers, colors and scents.
Appena 100 km outside Rome taking the A1 motorway towards Florence, take the Attigliano exit and about 4 km you will find the "Villa delle Meraviglie with the sacred wood of Bomarzo".

The park attached to the Villa was wanted by the prince Pier Francesco Orsini and was built by the architect Pirro Ligorio, who also worked on S. Pietro after Michelangelo's death.
Ideal place for adults and children to spend a day in the park in contact with nature and with stone statues along the way they depict animals such as elephants, dragons, turtles and sphinxes. You can take splendid and particular photographs at the limit of the surreal with special effects given precisely by these somewhat gloomy statues.

There is the possibility of making a nice picnic in the equipped area, barbecue, toilet bar and free parking. There is also a play area for small children with slides and swings so that the whole family can get together for a moment of relaxation.

Entry into this period is from the 8.30 19.00 and the cost of the ticket is € 10.00 full and for children from 4 to 13 years reduced to € 8.00 I tried it and for this I recommend it and have fun to everyone.
