Thanksgiving day in New York, the Macy's parade




    Like every year, all of America is preparing for the Thanksgiving Day, New York is no less with the beautiful parade organized by Macy's to be held on 22 November.     Every year during Thanksgiving Day the Macy's parade always manages to amaze and every year it attracts adults and children with colors and shapes that are nothing short of giant. Also this year before sitting down for lunch with friends and family between the roasted turkey and the pumpkin pie, the pumpkin pie New Yorkers will go to85th street to watch the parade organized by the Macy's store.

    The parade starts around 9 in the morning at 77th Street and flanks Manhattan's most famous park on Central Park West, before taking Seventh Avenue, then Sixth Avenue, before ending at Herald Square, in front of the historic shop by Macy's.

    The parade will take place on day 28 November 2013 from 9 am until 12 pm
    Starting at 77th Street and Central Park West going down to Central Park and Columbus Circle turning onto 6th Avenue and traveling south to 34th Street. It is recommended that you arrive at least an hour early to gain a good spot to watch the parade.



    The numbers are always quite high, only in 2011 they participated in the parade approximately 800 clown, 1.600 cheerleaders and dancers, 40 balloons and 27 wagons. In short, those who can must go and cannot fail to send us some souvenir photos;)
