Sleeping in a lighthouse in Sardinia is now possible thanks to the Region. Everyone's dream could come true, is it yours too?
Have you always dreamed of a romantic stay directly in a lighthouse? Drink coffee with the view of the Corsica or the 'Maddalena archipelago? Soon you can do it! In fact, the Sardinia Region started this interesting integrated and environmentally friendly project for the recovery and conservation of its maritime heritage. As? Through the tourists!
If the beaches and the crystal clear sea alone are no longer enough to attract the increasingly demanding tourist, the island responds with lighthouses and coastal towers adapted to suites and terraces directly overlooking the sea.
For now, they have been identified 15 sites welcoming throughout the island, places that for a long time had been removed from the presence of visitors.
It goes from Razzoli lighthouse to that of La Maddalena, to the traffic light stations of Asinara to that of Capo Sperone and in several different lookout stations. It should be emphasized that in the Gran Torre di Torregrande - it is not a play on words - the regional museum of the coastal towers of Sardinia will soon be set up.
In short, Sardinia wants to re-discover itself through the combination of tourism, history, identity and environment.
For each of the structures a mixed use of culture and hospitality, to attract tourists, especially foreign ones, to explore a splendid destination full of wild charm.
