The review of the Hotel CitizenM, the design hotel located a few minutes walk from the gates of the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, a unique and highly recommended hotel.
Returning from Brittany, by train to Paris and plane the next morning to Bologna, I decided to stop and sleep in the area Charles de Gaulle airport. My plane left at 8 in the morning and moving at 5 with a small child did not seem the case, especially since the night before we would not have had the strength to go around Paris, even if I would have liked. After excluding therefore the possibility of staying in the center of Paris, I began to examine the hotel proposals near the main airport of the French city.

Since I would have given up on an evening in Paris, I wanted at least one hotel that lived up to my expectations, a different hotel, with something more. That's how I decided to book a night at the CitizenM, never choice was more appropriate than this.
To say that I had a great time at CitizenM is an understatement, first of all for the position. We didn't have to take no shuttle from the airport, nor from the train station in the Charles de Gaulle area and this is very good. Those who arrive in the evening dead tired and have to go to sleep in a hotel next to the airport, the last thing they want after landing and taking a bus, collecting their bags, etc. etc. is to take another bus and make other trips. Here, at CitizenM you can get there on foot, 4/5 minutes on foot, not more.
Il check in and checkout are self-made. I am available to all computer travelers and two people are available to help you in case you do not understand by yourself how to proceed, but it is very easy to do the your room card, pay by debit or credit card and do it in complete autonomy, trust me.
CitizenM Paris: a splendid hotel
The hotel is beautiful. If you love design furnishings just a little as I do, you will love this hotel. Colored lamps, soft and inviting sofas, tables everywhere, chairs for everyone, airplanes and books everywhere, but not only. For those who arrive hungry, guests can find both a self service restaurant and a kind of internal market with tacos, fruit juices, burritos and much more.
The strong point of the structure
But let's get to the highlight, the room. Practically wedged between the bathroom and the corridor is the bedroom, a corridor where the sink is located, a separate space for shower and toilet and a mega bed overlooking the airways, at night or early in the morning you can admire some incredible views, if you love airplanes as much as I do. Upon arrival you will find one screen and an ipad with welcome and your name, immediately to make you feel at home. What is the ipad for? It serves to control all the services that are available in the room, come on (there is a huge choice), at shine, From Wake-up calls which can always be set from the iPad, up to music, one thing to go crazy!
How much does all this innovation and beauty cost? A double room costs much less than we can imagine. It is not low cost, but it is not even a disproportionate amount and if you want to try to sleep in a different place, which is not one of the usual chains, I recommend it twice! This chain is not only found in Paris, but also in London, New York, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Glasgow.
