Scaligeri excavations: archeology and photography with a single ticket

    - Scaliger excavations have been home to important photographic exhibitions for years and since February 15th to May 5th will host “Giorgio Casali photographer Domus 1951-1983 Architecture, design and art in Italy” curated by Angelo Maggi and Italo Zannier.

    But the International Center of Photography Scavi Scaligeri in Verona is also a very interesting location as it is located underground from the road and walking through its rooms allows Roman finds in the area next to the former forum. Double reason therefore to visit the exhibition of Giorgio Casali photographer


    The images come from the Casali Fund, kept and managed in the Projects Archive of the IUAV University of Venice. The exhibition is organized by the International Center of Photography Scavi Scaligeri of Verona in collaboration with the 'IUAV University of Venice, the Estorick Collection of Italian Modern Art in London and the international magazine of architecture, art and design Domus.



    Open: Tuesday to Sunday 10.00am - 19.00pm (closed Monday). Open Easter and Easter Monday 25th April and 1st May.
    Tickets: whole 5,00 €, reduced 3,00 euros, reduced schools and children 1,00 euros.
