Rincon Huertano, where to eat paella in Alicante

Rincon Huertano is located in Plaza Portal de Elche, 4 ad Alicante in a small square in the center of the Spanish city dominated by a huge tree whose roots extend for most of the soil.

Here you will find this little hidden but very delicious restaurant. At the entrance dozens of hams, of jamon iberico they hang from the ceiling, a bit like in our butchers. The restaurant is a fake rustic with an exposed wall and objects sown here and there, although there is little or nothing in this place.

As you well know in Spain the meal times they are far ahead of ours, before 14pm so to speak don't even go near a restaurant. Here then, if you go on a Sunday be sure before two good hours you will not move from the table.

The absolute peace of this place will allow you to eat and eat and eat until… you can't even move from the table.

They obviously exist well 4 types of menus for the most undecided, for those who do not know the language well and want to completely rely on the local. If I can advise you there were 4 of us and we took two beautiful paellas... and as you can see from the photo above there are also advanced. Let's say that the portions are very generous. Then of course water, white and sweet wine. We have not spent more than € 18 per person.
