Profondo Rosso in Turin at Villa Scott

Profondo Rosso in Turin at Villa Scott

Villa Scott a Torino is the location chosen by Dario Argento to shoot part of the horror film Deep red. In the film the villa of the screaming child plays a fundamental role because it is here that the key to the solution of the mystery is hidden.

The most famous film by Dario Argento shot in 1975 proposes the Villa as a location of excellence in addition to the other cities where the film was shot: Rome, Perugia and Turin.

The villa is located in Corso Giovanni Lanza 57 in Borgo Po, in the Turin liberty area. Alfonso Scott was the client and after his death the villa passed into the hands of the Sisters of the Redemption who used it as a girls' boarding school, while currently it has been purchased by private individuals even though it seems to be uninhabited. The interior scenes were actually shot in the villa and not reconstructed in the studio.

The villa being a private property cannot be visited even if it can be seen from the outside and if you have seen the film I assure you that a little fear will put you :)
