Pretty Woman, the locations in Los Angeles

Pretty Woman it's a bit like today's fairy tale, cinematically speaking. The hotel where Edward and Vivian are staying is the Regent beverly wilshire, 9500 Wilshire Boulevard, but don't be fooled if you want to rent one or more nights here you will never be able to stay in the same room as the film as the interior of the rooms has been completely rebuilt at the Disney studio.

Another place of worship is theHotel Ambassador, which was located at 3400 Wilshire Boulevard, Midtown Los Angeles, now sadly torn down. In this ballroom the scene where Hector, the hotel manager, taught at Miss Vivian to choose cutlery and bearing during an important dinner.

La shop where Julia Roberts comes from snubbed for its appearance it is Boulmiche Boutique which isn't actually on Rodeo Drive, but at 9.501 Santa Monica Boulevard. The restaurant where Miss Vivian makes a snail fly away is the Oviatt Palace, 617 South Olive Street, in downtown Los Angeles, which has often been used as a location for many other films.

As for the theater where Edward takes Vivian to see the opera, it's not actually one of the theaters in San Francisco, but its exterior is that of the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles, the interior was instead reconstructed in a studio. The final scene much loved, especially by the female audience where Edward is climbs up a ladder with the notes of La Traviata underneath, and a red rose in the mouth, is the Las Palmas Hotel, Las Palmas 1738 Avenue, near Hollywood Boulevard.
