Paradise Island o Island of Dreams is located on Giftun Island and is one of the few places where you can arrive and be pampered, if you wish, by the island's services or simply throw yourself into the sea to do some snorkeling. Getting there is not difficult but it is not possible to do it alone. If you are staying in one of the many Hotel in Hurghada you can ask them about this excursion.
To get to Paradise Island it takes about 40 / 45 minutes, during the excursion before arriving you can take a couple of baths to cool off, as the sun beats so much here, or to start getting acquainted with the water and snorkeling.
On Paradise Island the the beach is free for groups who arrive here accompanied by hotels and who usually stay on the beach for about an hour but there is also a private part equipped sunbeds, umbrellas and a comfortable, shady bar. You will not be able to enter the private beach also because if you are with the group an hour will not be enough for you to sunbathe and you will end up only wasting money.
If you want cool off at the bar I recommend you take a fresh mango juice freshly made by the bar guys. On the way back, a third stop awaits you to snorkel again while admiring one 5 star coral reef. This part of the Red Sea offers many varieties of fish and if you are lucky (like me) you will be able to see in the distance a school of Dolphins. Tip: Bring high sunscreen!
