Ouigo, the French low cost train from 10 €

Fresh news, with i Tgv-low cost you can go from Paris to Marseille by spending 10€, on high-speed trains similar to the traditional ones of the transalpine network. You will save a lot and the trains will be recognizable thanks to their blue-fuchsia color and will be called Ouigo, which in a Franco-English mix can mean "Come on, let's go".

The initiative, the first in the world ever, comes from France which has decided to combine quality and low cost, categorically denying those who think that low cost means low quality.

Ouigo will begin to circular from 2 April, can only be booked online and will not have control personnel on board, which means that a pre-boarding control system will be set up, and therefore the user will be required to resend 40 minutes before departure: in other words, the management of the contract will be entirely digital, via internet or sms. Furthermore, one class, no dining car: all to increase the transport capacity of the single convoy from 1.000 to 1.200 people. Finally, no departure from the central stations of large cities the Paris station for example will be Marne la Vallé (Eurodisney).

By adding the money to reach the main centers and stations, the savings will still be guaranteed. Ouigo will offer 400 thousand coupons a 10 € and up to 1 million tickets for less than 25 euros, out of a total of 1,6 million travelers that the low cost train intends to transport in 2013.
