New York on Valentine's Day, 3 places to celebrate

New York on Valentine's Day, 3 places to celebrate

Cupid is coming again this year and as always for some of you he will shoot an arrow in the name of love so that you will spend an incredible evening with your sweetheart drinking prosecco, eating in some intimate restaurant and ending with some intimate dessert!
Maybe there is a bit of bitterness in my tone, as my cupid committed suicide long ago and so this year too I prepare my Valentine's day from singles based on nutella tearjerking films and any popcorn that I definitely can't do without.

    What consoles me?
Well I'm finally in the city of my dreams New York, definitely in the center of the world and at least I know that when I look out the window I see the empire, the liberty tower, the bridge and all the lights that illuminate New York City.
I don't know what couples do in New York. Last year I spent Valentine's Day wandering carefree in the streets of the city I observed absorbed in my thoughts who around me was held in the sweet arms of the partner, who blushed at hearing certain words whispered in the ear, who with a smile filled the other person of infinite joy.

Love is the same all over the world, with the difference that here after one romantic dinner to be booked months in advance accompanied by a bouquet of her favorite flowers (please don't be trivial, some women also love other flowers besides red roses, for example I am satisfied with a sunflower) you can bring your "life" to the top of theEmpire State Building which will be illuminated completely with pink and red lights alternate to create luminous hearts, show her the immensity of the city (the immensity of your love), you can look into her eyes and kneeling you will hand her that blue box so much dreamed of by women, I'm obviously talking about Tiffany's blue and you will ask her to marry you, and she with tears of joy in her eyes will never say no.

Remember that as much as this movie scene is super romantic and perfect, love is shown every day with small gestures and not with a Tuffany, even if the latter is true, can help.

Maybe I watch too many movies, maybe I have a movie in my head but thanks to these movies I have found my future in New York, and maybe I will also find a sentimental future (when my cupid is resurrected).

Restaurants in New York There is no shortage of places to eat in the Big Apple, but beware, you have to book early. A very nice place, I would say idyllic is the rooftop of the Standard Hotel in Greenwich.
There are two rooms, one more accessible to everyone, always with a breathtaking view, and the other room, well that is an enchantment from the furnishings to the attention to every detail, often they have someone playing live music, innovative cocktails, appetizers and refined food prices accessible for an occasional evening.

If you are gods gluttons and you want something special and extremely sweet, I recommend the pastry Serendipity3, from there have passed characters like Lady D, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn. The desserts are immense in size and the hot chocolates an infinite divinity. The place is very special with dozens of chandeliers that fall from the ceiling, each one different from the other, clocks on the walls and beads everywhere. You will feel like you are entering wonderland!

I florists open at dawn with infinity of flowers to choose from, they also give you the possibility to create your own personalized bouquet. Jewelers? Surely Tiffany & Co or Cartier, not very low cost, but for an event like this, if you are in New York, you must and can do madness!
