Namourette, tour through the canals of Namur for € 0,50

I found out Namourette by chance, really by chance. Turning from one alley to the other of Namur and coming up to the canal I saw a group of people waiting. Approaching the board I saw that the cost of the journey was only € 0,50 each way per person : D why not take advantage of it?

The small ship carries approx 12 passengers and goes to Jambes and Salzinnes. From the pleasure port of Jambes “Henri Hallet”, it makes the round trip to Tabora via the Pont des Ardennes, the quay of the “Porte Sambre et Meuse” and the Pont de l'Evêche. As already mentioned, adults pay € 0,50 each way, children aged 6 to 12 pay € 0,20, while children under 6 do not pay.

I don't think the tour is really touristic, more a sort of bus on the water for those who have to go from one shore to the other without taking too long or spending a fortune, it is certain that if you are visiting it is worth taking advantage of it. But one thing must be said. Although I only made one stopover, so I paid only one way 1€ and no receipt was left, then can't verify Unfortunately. The site and the board still show the figure of € 0,50 so I don't know if the prices have recently changed.

In the end, 1 € is still one trivial figure for a boat trip to Namur, however I write it for information accuracy. Have a good trip!
